Sonja Boretski has trained at Quinte Ballet School of Canada and is a graduate of he School of Toronto Dance Theatre
. Since then, she has apprenticed with ProArteDanza, and was an RBC emerging artist with Peggy Baker Dance Projects.

Elizabeth Kalashnikova is a freelance ballet dancer. Beginning her training at the Canadian Ballet Theatre, she later became a dancer for the Atelier Ballet Company, a professional dancer for the prestigious Opera Atelier Ballet company, and has been cast as a dancer for multiple TV shows.

Mikayla Marrelli completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts: Performance Dance at Ryerson University in Toronto. Mikayla started training with Jessica Starr at the age of twelve in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and later followed her to Los Angeles as part of her company MusEffect.


Born and raised in Toronto, Tara Pillon is a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance educator. She graduated with honors from Ryerson University, where she received a BFA in Performance Dance. Tara has performed professionally with Ballet Creole, Gadfly, emiMOTION Dance Company, Human Body Expression, Avinoam Silverman Dance, and Creativiva. 

Kirsten Sullivan is a dance artist born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Graduate of the Performance Dance program at the Ryerson School of Performance, Kirsten first performed with Gadfly last season and is thrilled to be back for this production.

Ashley Coulson is a graduate of Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance’s Elite Competitive team, and Cawthra Park Secondary School’s Regional Arts Dance ProgramAshley is excited to continue her career as a professional dancer.

Originally from Ljubljana, Slovenia, Miha Matevzic has over 15 years of professional dance experience. He moved to London (UK) in 2010 and has been living in Toronto since 2014. He has worked with dance companies such as Gadfly, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks and Holla Jazz.

A graduate of UQAM’s Contemporary Dance, Christina “Hurricane Tina” Paquette is an artist stimulated by movement itself. She pushed her artistry further as a professional dancer in urban dances, more specifically in “bgirling / bboying” and amalgamated different dance techniques that are now part of her artistic language. 
Sierra Richardson completed her BFA in Performance Dance at Ryerson University. Sierra has performed in works by Heidi Strauss, Marie Josée Chartier, Valerie Calam, Alejandro Cerrudo, Kate Hilliard, and Gadfly. Sierra is very excited to be performing with Gadfly in UNBXBL 2.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Raoul Pillay’s love for learning, opened many doors to professional dance companies such as The Moon Runners, Gadfly, and Holla Jazz. Performing for events like Canada Goose, The Four Seasons Hotel, Nuit Blanche, TUDS Festival, has helped him bridge the gap between urban movement and had pushed his career into the commercial industry.
Lindsay Harpham has trained in Saskatchewan, Vancouver, and Toronto. She has performed with The Aviary Company, The Conteur Academy, Red Sky Performance, Larchaud Dance Project and The Saskatchewan Dance Project. Lindsay is looking forward to performing alongside the Gadfly artists.

Sarah McLennan is a graduate of the performance dance program at Ryerson University. She has trained with Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Northwest Dance Project, the Movement Invention Project, and Pro Arte Danza. She is looking forward to continuing her pursuit of a career in contemporary and modern dance styles.

Alyssa Petrolo attended Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts studying ballet and modern dance. After graduating, Alyssa received a scholarship to attend Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia where she continued her training in dance education and choreography. She attended Gadfly’s Aybrid Intensive in 2016 and has worked on various projects with the company since.

Hannah Shikatani recently completed her second year in the Performance Dance program at Ryerson University. She has learned a great deal working with Gadfly on UNBXBL 2.0 and looks forward to expanding her knowledge and abilities as an artist. 

Amanda Pye is a Toronto-based dance artist and actor. She has had the opportunity to work with many artists including Form Contemporary Dance Theatre, Heidi Strauss, Jasmyn Fyffe, Alias Dance Project, Candice Irwin, and Shotgun Juliet Theatre Company.
